About Us
Today, 144 years and 5 generations later, Baklava is recognizable to billions. Antepli Baklava’s 7,000 square meter factory in Gaziantep, the largest baklava producing and distributing site in the world, operates under the globally recognized licenses HACCP and ISO 9001 (Quality Assurance system). Now, the traditional Turkish flavor in baklava and other goods, such as Antepli’s famous spinach and cheese pies, sesame breads (Simit), and other baked goods, have found their way to the U.S.A. in Denver, Colorado.

TRADITIONAL RECIPES
The story of Turkish desserts traces back to 1871 in Gaziantep, one of the oldest cities on earth. Located on the caravan routes connecting Mesopotamia, Egypt and Anatolia on the southeastern tip of Turkey, its 5600 years of history provided a perfect platform for tradesmen to present their gifts to the world. It was in this time period that Gullu Celebi introduced Gaziantep to a dessert he learned from a master chef in Damascus.

MADE BY HAND
